The only house that remains standing in Al-Bassa.
Albassa was the second largest village in northern Palestine after Al-Kabri. In 1948 it had a population of 3422 living in over 700 houses. In 1998 the descendents of Al-Bassa refugees were estimated to 21015 persons, nearly half of them live in Lebanon and elsewhere in the world, whereas the other half remained in the country and now live in Nazareth, Haifa, Akka and some villages in the Galilee.
